May at a Glance

May concluded the third month of blogging on Journey to SAHM. I am proud to say I hit 10,000 page views for the first time! It’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get there. Next month I plan to put more focus on creating content and getting ahead. Then I can put an even higher focus on stats and monetizing going forward. May Blog Income Report Stats

 

May saw another increase in page views and users! I am pretty excited I hit 10,000 page views for the first time and even exceeded that! I also saw my bounce rate drop almost 3%. This has been a main focus of mine to ensure readers will read through several pages on my blog to learn more. It is also due in part to having more articles to read as time goes on. I hope to see my bounce rate stay in the 80s as the months progress.

I didn’t see much movement on the Amazon affiliate side this month. I released a Top Outdoor Games for 2 Year Olds article at the end of the month, so I hope to see this improve in June with that article.

My Google Adsense just about tripled this month due to more page views. I was very happy with my revenue on this as it’s the highest it’s ever been!

I received several offers from companies for sponsored posts this month. Some revenue will roll into June as I was just finishing them up at the end of May. I am happy with the progression on sponsored posts compared to last month. I hope to see this continue to increase as the months go on.

 

A Great Tool You Can’t Pass Up

This month has a negative total since I took the plunge in using Tailwind. It’s an annual fee, so I will not have to pay it for another 12 months. As you can tell, I’ve already almost made my money back from it.

If you are not using Tailwind, I highly recommend it. I increased my Pinterest views by 262,000 just in the 30 days I had a free trial. Crazy, right? Turns out it wasn’t a coincidence like I thought.
